We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated qualified or trainee Practice Nurse to join our friendly, forward-thinking team at Niddrie Medical Practice. We are a growing practice of 4900 patients serving the Niddrie and Craigmillar communities from a spacious, purpose-built health centre shared with another GP practice and many community services.
The role will encompass:

6. HRT and contraception reviews
7. Chronic disease management
If Practice Nurse training is required, you will work on the Introduction to Practice Nursing course once you start in practice. Where needed, you would also receive training on chronic disease management and improving health in patients with long-term conditions including asthma, COPD, diabetes, and vascular disease.
Working hours are 24hpw and the working pattern is negotiable between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday but must include Monday.
We are a 3 GP Partnership, with a strong clinical team including 2 Salaried GPs, 1 Practice Nurse, 1 Practice Mental Health Nurse, 1 Community Link Worker, and Pharmacy Support.
