Children’s Registered Manager Established Residential Service £55,000 Bradford, West Yorkshire Overview Compass Associates are proud to be working alongside an established, national provider who specialise in providing high quality Children’s social care services, to help recruit an experienced Registered Manager for their 6-bedded EBD Residential Service supporting children aged 8 to 17. The Candidate As the Registered Manager you will have overall responsibility of the day-to-day operations of the service, including the leadership and management of the staff team and continuous collaboration with the company’s quality team. You will be overseeing the efficient delivery and development of the service whilst working closely alongside the Regional Manager, where together you will ensure the children receive the best care. You will possess a deep working knowledge of health and social care, particularly in relation to Ofsted rules and regulations. Moreover, they will also require strong people management and communication skills, as well as sound commercial understanding. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or willingness to start within 6 months of employment. Understanding of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements. Efficient in; planning, organizing, budget control, resource allocation, and team leadership. Confidence in effective spoken and written communication. Knowledge of the needs of children with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties, including managing challenging behaviour. Driving License: Full UK required Location The role is located in Bradford and is commutable from Shipley, Pudsey, Leeds City Centre, Morley, Heckmondwike, Keighley, and Halifax.
