Deputy Ward Manager (RMN) - Mental Health Hospital *£4,000 WB*
Must have current experience as a Deputy Ward Manager in a hospital setting.
Location: Dewsbury (Must be living in the UK)
Position: Deputy Ward Manager (RMN / RNLD Qualified)
Shifts: 12 Hour Shifts: Days or Nights or a Mixture available, Subject to availability
Salary: up to £19.15 per hour / £39,847 per year (based on 40 Hours)
Contract: Permanent

A fantastic opportunity for a Deputy Ward Manager to join a leading provider of behavioural care and specialist support services to adults and younger people.
Are you?
An experienced Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD) with valid NMC Pin and full eligibility to live and work in the UK.
Knowledge, Training and Education:
* Ensure own compliance and compliance of others with regard to mandatory training and professional development requirements.
* Registered Nurse with current Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) registration.
* Practice in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct (2002) and other appropriate NMC guidelines.
* Accountable for own nursing practice, sustaining and improving knowledge and professional competence.
* Evaluate situations through information obtained from patients, their families, and other relevant sources.
* Work closely with service users to explore issues and increase understanding and motivation.
* Identify early signs of deterioration in mental state and behaviour; plus any potential triggers for risk behaviours.
* Support service users to develop skills to self-manage their medication through graduated self-medication programmes.
* Engage/re-engage service users with family and friends.
* Identify service needs and communicate effectively with stakeholders to develop flexible and comprehensive services.
