About the Role: As a Senior Project Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our operations, working alongside a dedicated team of Project/Survey Managers, Engineers and Technicians. You’ll be instrumental in delivering detailed project plans, high-quality investigation reports, load capacity assessments, technical advice and developing innovative engineering solutions for our clients. As Project Engineer, you’ll have the unique opportunity to receive training in our investigation consultancy practices to fine tune the best of your skills with our support and experience. Including surveying, non-destructive testing, structure life care plans and material sampling. What You'll Do: Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Investigation Teams and Clients. Developing detailed project plans, adapting to evolving and changing needs. Communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely. Conducting first principles load capacity assessments. Prepare comprehensive investigation reports with interpretative insights and recommendations for remedial repair, further investigation or assessment. Creating extended service life assessments and structure life care plans. Building strong client relationships and participating in client workshops. Contributing to CPD initiatives and mentoring junior engineers. You’ll need a full UK driving licence and significant experience as an Engineer working on existing buildings and/or refurbishment schemes. A degree in a relevant discipline and be working towards or achieved Chartered status. Experience with surveying, non-destructive testing and materials sampling is preferred.
