Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, organising VAT returns and collating receipts/invoices for projects.
Responsibilities
1. Ensuring that all information is available for the accountant regarding VAT returns.
2. Keeping an up-to-date spreadsheet detailing all payments for each project.
3. Ensure that each business payment is accounted for.
Skills
1. Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
2. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
3. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards is advantageous.
Please note that Betts Property Investments is a small company. You will be organising and collating all purchases made by the Managing Director and PA regarding different projects and making this information readily available for the Managing Director and the Accountant.
You will be working in tandem with the PA who will send over all relevant invoices and receipts.
Work can range from 1-6 hours a week, depending on what needs to be done. This position can be done remotely, with occasional meetings with the Managing Director and/or PA.
This job is extremely flexible; you are able to choose the hours that suit you. Work location is 'In location' as there may be occasional meetings or documents needed to be collected from the Managing Director who is based in Moreton Hall (Bury St Edmunds).
