Position: ASC Support Assistant
School Location: Chorley (PR6)
Rate of Pay: £12.90 per hour
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 3.15pm

Role and Responsibilities:
As an ASC Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing one-to-one support and assistance to children with Autism Spectrum Condition. Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting students with their individual learning goals and academic tasks.
2. Assisting in the implementation of personalised educational plans.
3. Facilitating communication and social interactions for students with ASC.
4. Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
5. Monitoring and recording students' progress and behaviour.
6. Providing emotional support and promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
Requirements:
1. Experience or qualifications in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition is desirable, though not essential.
2. Demonstrable patience, empathy, and understanding in working with children with special educational needs.
3. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with teachers, parents, and fellow staff members.
4. A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young learners.
