Wood Process & Energy is seeking for expression of interest from an experienced Senior C&I Engineer to support our projects on a minimum 12-month contract duration, based in our offices at St. Vincent's Plaza, Glasgow
Hybrid working structure with a minimum of 2 days in the office. You will be working on various projects across Wood's portfolio of clients

Who we are looking for:
1. Experience with working on projects for the Energy, Chemicals and Refining Sectors
2. Experience with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
3. Experience with working within a project team as a Senior C&I engineer and on C&I teams across a range of industry sectors. on Small, Medium / Large capital projects from concept to start-up
4. Be a Self-motivated team player working on own initiative with minimal supervision
5. Experience with development of Instrument Engineering deliverables as required on a project-by-project basis
6. Degree or equivalent in the appropriate engineering subject
7. Chartered Engineer status as a Member of the Institute of Measurement and Control (IMC) or Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) (desired)
8. Experience with specification control and safety system upgrades and modifications (desired)
9. Experience with specification of field instrumentation, analysers and ESD and actuated valves
10. Experience with sizing of flow devices/control valves/relief devices
11. Experience with attendance and contributing to HAZOP, LOPA, Alarm Reviews and SIL Determination (desired)
12. Experience with IEC 61511 Safety Lifecycle and Emergency Shutdown System architecture and design and SIL determination. (desired)
13. TUV or similar Functional Safety Engineer qualification. (desired)
14. Experience with the specification of Fire & Gas systems and detection equipment and the application of BS5839-1
15. Experience with IT/Telecoms/Networks/Access Control & CCTV Systems (desired)
16. Experience in specification and interface management of Instrumentation and Control requirements for Mechanical packages
17. Experience with interfacing with Client Engineers personnel to facilitate project execution
18. Experience with managing and liaison with Vendors to facilitate project execution
19. Experienced engineer with sound technical background and expertise
20. Experienced in the use of appropriate codes of practice, standards and relevant sections of statutory documentation
21. Experienced in the use of design and assessment methods used within discipline
