Trainee Care Manager – Live-in Care Services
We are seeking a Trainee Care Manager to join our dedicated team and help shape the future of community-based care. In this professional and varied role, you will assume responsibility for a caseload of clients with complex care requirements, ensuring that each individual's needs are assessed, understood, and met with diligence, respect, and empathy.
The role is perfect for an individual who cares and is particularly passionate about keeping people in their homes when support is needed. You will report to the registered manager who will provide both guidance and support where needed. You will work in a team of 3 care managers, a scheduler and will be supported by a training, recruitment, finance and hourly care team. Key Responsibilities as the role progresses:
* Writing CQC compliant care plans and reviewing these
* Client and Carer Support and Observations
* Supervision and quality assurance
* Safeguarding and Professional Liaison
* Regular field based client visits
* Conducting risk assessments
* Identify and implement strategies to improve service quality, client satisfaction, and team performance.
* Work closely with other teams to explore opportunities for growth, service improvement, and innovation.
* Ensure CQC compliance at all times

Requirements
* Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care (desirable but not essential)
* Minimum 2 years of management experience in a care setting, in community based care. (desirable but not essential)
* Comprehensive knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding policies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Collaborative team player with a flexible, adaptable approach to an ever-changing industry
* RMN/RGN registration is preferred but open to considering otherwise
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
