Job Title: Tax Consultant

Salary: Up to £39,000
Our client is a well-established and growing accountancy practice based in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon. With a reputation for providing exceptional service to a diverse portfolio of clients, they are seeking a talented and experienced Tax Consultant to join their busy and dynamic team.
The Role:
As a Tax Consultant, you will play a crucial role in managing tax compliance and providing advisory services to a varied client base. You will be responsible for handling a portfolio of over 150 clients, including non-resident clients and individuals requiring Capital Gains Tax (CGT) returns. While the majority of your work will be compliance-focused, there will be opportunities for advisory work. Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of 150+ clients, ensuring timely and accurate tax compliance.
* Prepare and submit CGT returns and deal with queries related to non-resident clients.
* Provide tax advice and assistance to clients on various tax matters.
* Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and keep up to date with any changes in tax legislation.
* Collaborate with other team members and provide support where needed.
* Maintain strong client relationships, providing high-quality customer service and timely communication.
Skills & Experience Required:
* 3-5 years of experience working in tax, ideally within an accountancy practice.
* Experience with CCH software is preferred but not essential.
* Strong knowledge and experience in dealing with CGT returns and non-resident clients.
* Proven experience managing a portfolio of 150+ clients.
* Working towards ATT qualification or already qualified.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive, positive work ethic and a commitment to customer service.
