Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
* Access Control: Control and monitor access at control points, including vehicle barriers and reception stations, and manage access control passes.
* Patrols: Conduct regular internal and external patrols, regardless of weather conditions, to ensure site security.
* Escort Duties: Escort contractors and visitors, register them, issue temporary badges, and manage vehicle bookings.
* CCTV Monitoring: Monitor CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities, respond to security breaches, and provide a proactive and visible security presence.
* Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the site security team, communicate effectively with team members and the onsite Supervisor, and respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies.
Key Skills Required:
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a security role.
* Nationality: Must be a UK national eligible for SC clearance.
* Vigilance: Keen observation skills and proactive in detecting and preventing security breaches.
* Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with the team and manage security incidents.
* Adaptability: Ability to work in various weather conditions and handle both routine and emergency situations with professionalism.
Essential Skills
* SIA Licence
* Full UK Driving Licence with own transport
* Right to work in the UK and 5 year checkable history including education and/or employment
* Be able to pass a high level of security clearance (UK national ready to gain SC clearance)
* Previous security experience - 3yrs minimum
