SLR’s GIS team provides expert support and advice on GIS, geospatial data analysis and bespoke digital tools development across the full range of technical disciplines offered by SLR. We work on multidisciplinary projects alongside other technical disciplines as well as standalone GIS projects for a range of external clients. Projects are primarily located throughout Europe but with an ever-growing focus on more widely spread international opportunities.

The role
As a Project GIS Analyst, your role will be to provide mapping, analysis and visualisation support to Landscape Project Managers and Senior GIS team covering a wide range of projects from renewable energy to urban developments.
The role will include:
• Georeferencing and digitising map data
• Creating maps/drawings for reports and Environmental Impact Assessments
• Capturing, managing, and analysing data in GIS from multiple sources and in a variety of formats
• Preparing field maps for surveys
• Preparation and maintenance of data in ArcGIS Online Environments
About you
Alongside a recognised GIS-based qualification, we are looking for someone with:
• Proficient in the use of ESRI ArcGIS Pro and software extensions such as 3D & Spatial Analyst
• An interest in 3D modelling and visualisation. Experience in the use of 3D visualisation software such as SketchUp, Autodesk Revit and 3Ds Max would enhance your application
• Experience of using ArcGIS Online
• Conscientious worker with the ability to deliver to a consistent high standard with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team and build strong relationships throughout the business
• An understanding of how GIS technology can be applied to landscape, planning or wider environmental issues
• Knowledge of other packages such as AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign also beneficial
