Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and a strong knowledge of human anatomy. This role involves providing therapeutic and relaxation massages to clients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout the session.
Duties
1. Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
2. Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
3. Maintain a clean and organised treatment room, ensuring all equipment is hygienic and ready for use.
4. Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress.
5. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
6. Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques to enhance service offerings.
7. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both clients and staff.
Experience
1. Proven experience as a Massage Therapist or similar role is preferred but not essential.
2. Strong knowledge of human anatomy.
3. Certification in massage therapy from an accredited institution is required.
4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
5. A compassionate approach with a focus on client comfort and satisfaction.
