Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and a strong knowledge of human anatomy. This role involves providing therapeutic and relaxation massages to clients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout the session.
Duties
* Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
* Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
* Maintain a clean and organised treatment room, ensuring all equipment is hygienic and ready for use.
* Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress.
* Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
* Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques to enhance service offerings.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both clients and staff.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Massage Therapist or similar role is preferred but not essential.
* Strong knowledge of human anatomy.
* Certification in massage therapy from an accredited institution is required.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
* A compassionate approach with a focus on client comfort and satisfaction.
