Temporary PT Webcasting & Digital Support Officer/Admin – Marketing

Pay Rate: £14.13 per hour PAYE
Hours per week: 18.50 specific days and hour TBC
Role Length: This opening assignment is for 3 months
City: Ellesmere Port, Cheshire
Hybrid working
Candidates must be able to work evenings from 6pm to 9pm but times might vary
The successful candidate will act as the Council’s primary webcasting support in the delivery of live broadcasting / webcasting of Council and Partner meetings via the web, including the set up and breakdown of cameras and associated kit and the operation of the webcasting software during meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the operational delivery of the webcasting of virtual, in-person and hybrid meetings and train and upskill the Communications and Democratic Services teams.
Provide regular reports on webcasting, including viewing figures.
Create reports on digital channels for other members of the Communication Team and other Council colleagues.
Create and maintain content on the Council’s website(s).
Work within the Council’s vision and values and ensure that all decisions are taken in line with these at all times, including delivering value for money and the best outcome for customers.
Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
Experience of operation of websites through content management systems.
Experience in creation of webpages.
Experience leading webcasts.
Experience of evaluating digital platforms and of using analytical tools.
Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
