Our highly successful client is growing, and they now need an experienced HGV Technician to join their dedicated team. Our client offers a great team environment and has also just built a new workshop. You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of the company's fleet 50 + of HGV's (7.5 and 18 tonne)\n\nHours Mon-Fri (phone number removed)pm + Saturdays available 8.30-12 noon.\n\nHGV Mechanic - Main Duties:\n\nVehicle Inspections to DVSA and FTA standards\n\nFault finding, repairs & servicing of commercial vehicles and trailers\n\nMOT preparation to DVSA standards\n\nVehicle servicing to vehicle manufacturing standards\n\nCompletion of all relevant paperwork ensuring that all work undertaken is compliant\n\nUse of diagnostic equipment\n\nFollow all safety protocols and guidelines \n\nSkills required for the HGV Technician:\n\nThe successful HGV Technician must be a fully skilled with industry recognised qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three) in heavy vehicle service, maintenance and repair\n\n2 years' experience as an HGV Mechanic (Post Qualification)\n\nHigh level of communication\n\nBasic knowledge of computers and fleet diagnostics\n\nGood organizational skills and ability to be able to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines\n\nMust have the right to work in the UK\n\nBrake experience (training can be given)\n\nMOT preparation experience\n\nModern mechanical and electrical diagnostics and fault-finding\n\nAccurate and timely defect reporting \n\nBenefits:\n\nOvertime\n\n20 days holiday + bank holidays\n\nPension\n\nPhone\n\nUse of vehicle\n\nIf you feel that you have the skills and experience required for the HGV Technician role, please apply now or call Sharon Tanner on (phone number removed) if you have
