Our client, a well-established and highly respected dealership in Crawley, West Sussex, is looking for an experienced professional to join their team. About the Role Reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing a range of vehicles, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Requirements Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment. Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently. Repair or replace components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems. Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure vehicles are in top condition. Test drive vehicles to confirm proper functionality after repairs. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all repairs and services performed. Collaborate effectively with team members to optimize workflow and customer service. We’re looking for someone with: Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, or in a similar role. Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and components. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. A proactive and team-oriented mindset with good communication skills. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure environment. Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications and currently in the range of £37,908 - £47,268 per year. Hours vary slightly at each site but generally the hours of work are Monday to Friday; Day & Night Shifts - Early shift 7:00am – 4pm; late shift 3pm to midnight with an ½ hour unpaid break. Any Saturday working is on a rota basis.
