Our client, a leading international law firm, are seeking an experienced Secretarial Team Leader for their largest practice area. This role will encompass both team lead and PA duties and experience with both is essential.
You will oversee the allocation, supervision, and development of Personal Assistants and Team Administrators, ensuring they provide outstanding service to fee earners. Experience in conducting check-ins/appraisals and managing performance/conduct is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
* Allocate PAs to fee earners and oversee team resource optimisation.
* Supervise PAs and TAs to ensure excellence in service delivery.
* Conduct performance reviews, set objectives, and support skill development.
* Collaborate with leadership to manage absences, performance, and recruitment.
* Provide PA support to 5 fee-earners.
Requirements
* Proven Legal Personal Assistant experience within litigation.
* Previous supervisory experience.
* A professional demeanour with strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
* Experience in a client-focused or professional services environment.
* Strong performance management skills.
* A proactive, flexible approach and a “can do” attitude.
This is a hybrid role with typical working pattern of 3 days in the office, 2 from home. Full time office attendance will be expected during initial role handover.
