We are a relatively small 4–16 school, part of the Emmanuel Schools Foundation, and continuing a journey of improvement that offers great potential for rapid professional development. Reflecting our independent school heritage, we have a reduced school year (180 days for students) with 10 additional days of holidays for teaching staff.
We require Examinations Invigilators to be responsible for the smooth and effective conduct of examinations.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in supporting students through their exams and is looking for flexible hours on a casual basis.
This role is essential to the smooth running of the examination process. In addition to ensuring correct exam procedures are followed, you will be responsible for the setting out and collecting of exam scripts and materials, admitting students to the exam hall/room, invigilating during the exams, and collating the exam papers to be sent off to the Exam Boards. Duties may include reading and scribing for students during exams. Full training will be provided should you be offered a role with us.
We have high expectations for our students as they grow and develop, and all our staff provide important role models to them in terms of positive attitude, work ethic and diligence.
Join us and in addition to working with committed and helpful colleagues, we offer access to the following benefits:
