The Role:
In your role, you will need to work closely with colleagues, brokers, and service suppliers. This role represents an opportunity to be part of a successful and dynamic department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The 3 key areas are:
1. Appointment Making and Diary Management:
o Provide tele-sales support to the Account Executives for both new and existing business appointments.
o Work closely with the Account Executive to fulfil their diary with appointments to maximise opportunities.
o Assist Account Executives with follow-up calls/mail shots to generate new business opportunities.
o Coordinate and manage the follow-up of any mail shot activities for new product launches and BDElite news to both new and existing brokers.
2. Internal Account Handling and Broker Performance:
o Assist the Account Executive with the account handling of a designated portfolio of broker accounts to ensure broker retention, growth, and profitability primarily via telephone contact.
o Assist the Account Executive with the preparation of terms and agreements.
o Provide point of contact for any incoming broker queries or complaints and ensure these are actioned appropriately in line with the company complaints process.
o Ensure SLAs are achieved and liaise with the Head of Operations to resolve any issues in a timely manner to the brokers' satisfaction.
o Answer broker queries on all BDElite products, including the different transactional platforms available.
o Liaise with the Head of Operations to ensure all account development actions and SLAs are maintained according to the plans.
o Review and understand the detail within the broker MI relating to broker performance and profitability.
o Assist with the awareness of all products and services available.
3. Administrative Support:
o Maintain high standards of customer service.
o Assist with weekly account summary notes and ensure all actions are completed.
o Compile competitor information to highlight any trends/changes within the market industry.
o Organise stationery orders for brokers, ensuring deliveries are to the agreed timescales.
o Ensure broker sales are submitted monthly for all products.
o Provide assistance to brokers for all BDElite accounting queries.
o Ensure all broker MI is produced within the agreed timescales.
o Provide administrative support to the BDElite Account Managers and Claim Handlers when required.
o Help keep accurate internal reports on department activity.
o Review broker MI monthly and performance, suggesting possible amendments to commercial terms if required.
o Deal with any potential problems to prevent escalation into a complaint.
o Assist the claims team with call overflow and administrative support when required.
