The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager, or Service Engineer that has strong customer skills and is looking to make the transition into a Business Development role, with a strong technical background and extensive experience within the filtration industry, for example in W2E (Waste to Energy) or woodworking.
Ideal Qualifications / Experience
* Proven Sales Expertise: A demonstrable history of success in sales, particularly in driving new business and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Technical Sales Experience: Significant background in the filtration or service-engineering domain.
* Digital Proficiency: High proficiency with CRM systems and the MS Office suite.
* Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively within the UK and occasionally across Europe or internationally.
* Language: Fluent in English.

The Role
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving significant business growth across the UK, with some responsibilities beyond. The role focuses on identifying and securing new opportunities within the filtration and industrial sectors, particularly targeting clients in manufacturing, food processing, woodworking, medical, and waste-to-energy markets. The successful candidate will be measured on their ability to generate new business, maintain strong client relationships, and achieve ambitious sales targets. The business traditionally has serviced fast -paced short term order profiles, our client wishes to change this profile with the addition of long term scheduled order clients- waste to energy markets being an example
Key Attributes Include:
* A proven track record in sales, with significant success in generating new business.
* Deep experience in service or engineering roles within the filtration industry.
* Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and build long-term strategic partnerships.
* Familiarity working with distributors, MRO, and engineering services sectors is highly desirable.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
* Numerate and ability in deal making
