Located in Nottingham, spanning over multiple sites, our client is in the market for a Head of Production to join their business on a permanent basis. Key Responsibilities: As the Head of Production, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our operations. Your responsibilities will include: Driving Processes: Leading the development and implementation of robust production processes to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency. Driving KPIs: Setting, monitoring, and delivering against key performance indicators to achieve operational excellence. Driving Accountability: Fostering a culture of ownership and responsibility across the production team, ensuring every team member is aligned with business objectives. Driving Efficiencies: Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, reducing waste, and optimizing workflows to enhance productivity. Improving Customer Satisfaction: Ensuring that quality, delivery, and service standards consistently exceed customer expectations. What we're looking for: To succeed in this role, you will need to bring strong leadership and technical expertise, alongside a deep understanding of precision engineering. The ideal candidate will have: Extensive Experience: A proven track record in a production or operational leadership role within a precision engineering environment, particularly working with precision machined, prismatic components. Emotional Intelligence: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and manage teams effectively. Man-Management Skills: The ability to lead, coach, and develop a diverse team, ensuring high performance and engagement at all levels. Process Improvement Expertise: A data-driven approach to identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions that drive measurable results. Customer Focus: A commitment to maintaining and improving customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality, bespoke products on time and to specification.
