Teacher of the Deaf
All about the Role
Peterborough City Council are seeking an experienced and dedicated qualified teacher to step into a Teacher of the Deaf role within a well-established and successful Sensory and Physical Teaching Service.
Applicants will be well experienced teachers who either hold, or are willing to work towards, a Teacher of the Deaf qualification and who have a strong understanding of the difficulties faced by local deaf children and young people. Applicants will be flexible and collaborative professionals who are ready to take the next steps within their teaching career.
Interviews for this post will be held on Tuesday 25th February 2025.

All about You
* You have Qualified Teacher Status
* You have a sound understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and knowledge of the Children and Families Act 2014.
* You are able to build and establish positive working relationships with parents and carers
* You have a full and current driving licence and are willing and able to travel independently
