Role Overview:
The Marketing Analytics Team is seeking a Principal Analyst for Brand and Content to provide high-quality data-driven insights and support the Brand and Content team. This role requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and leadership experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the Brand and Content team with reporting needs across social media, on-site content, and paid tactics.
2. Track campaigns, segment customer base, identify market trends and monitor competitors.
3. Develop and implement a tracking and measurement system for brand metrics.
4. Define, measure, and evaluate paid media KPIs, working closely with the media agency.
5. Translate data into actionable insights to improve performance.
6. Provide timely insights to support business decision-making.
7. Identify opportunities in data, articulate findings, and suggest actions.
8. Automate reporting tools and manage ad hoc queries.
9. Build strong relationships with stakeholders and team members.
10. Influence strategic roadmaps and drive actionable change.
11. Measure the impact of testing and analyze results.
12. Collaborate with third-party providers and agencies for tools and tracking methods.
Qualifications:
13. Experience: 5-8 years in marketing analytics, with a background in a paid media agency, e-commerce, travel industry, or data-based consulting.
14. Education: Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field (math, economics, engineering, statistics, etc.); a Master’s degree is a plus.
15. Passion for data and storytelling through analytics.
16. Proven track record in monitoring and analyzing large-scale brand marketing campaigns.
17. Self-motivated problem solver with strategic and analytical thinking.
18. Strong understanding of marketing, travel, culture, and media.
19. Expertise in marketing effectiveness measurement.
20. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
21. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
22. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
23. Proficiency in social analytics and community management platforms (e.g., Sprout, BrandWatch).
24. Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, R/Python, Tableau, and other data tools.
25. Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
