The Role
As Programme Planner, you'll join an exciting and complex programme of work covering technology, systems, and business change. You'll be responsible for:
1. developing and maintaining quality programme and project plans (milestones, dependencies etc.)
2. work closely with programme and project managers, tracking delivery against plan (reporting on and resolving any potential deviations / exceptions etc.)
3. communicating any potential changes effectively to key stakeholders (scenario planning)
4. supporting planning capability within PMO and across the business
5. utilising and maintaining project tools (e.g. MS Projects, Jira)
About you
Applicants for the Programme Planner role will have:
6. strong experience using project management tools like MS Projects, Jira or similar
7. experience of project planning and/or scheduling for complex projects (preferably in a technology / systems / change project environment)
8. strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, preferably with a relevant project management certification (e.g. APM-PMQ, APMG, Prince2)
9. excellent communication and stakeholder management / engagement skills
