A well-known secondary school in Abergavenny are looking to recruit a someone to work closely with students who need additional assistance within their school. You may be working 1:1 with the student or as part of a small group.
The pupil’s ages range between 11-18.

Your role may be involved in assisting with day-to-day activities and providing essential support to foster their confidence and growth. In this role you will be required to:
- Help set up and organise the classroom for the lead teacher.
- Work closely with pupils who need additional help within the class.
- Partake in activities in and outside the classroom. This can include sports/ arts and crafts and day trips.
The ideal candidate should be:
- Patient
- Caring
- Have good time management skills.
- Have a passion for working with children.
- A sporting background would help but is not essential.
Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS clearance, registered on the update service (or willingness to apply).
* EWC registration (or willingness to apply).
* Ability to provide two recent references, showcasing your professional competence.
* Right to work in the UK, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
* Safeguarding Level 2 (provided free of charge by Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
