What we’re looking for We are looking for an experienced and capable receptionist to join our fast-growing global B2B media company. In this role, you will ensure the reception area is always maintained and will provide support for other departments when needed. Your m ain responsibilities will include greeting customers, answering the phones and maintaining documents. You will provide consistent and professional customer service, ensuring excellent punctuality and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures at all times. What will you be doing Open ing the office on a d aily basis Main point of contact Answer telephone, screen and direct calls, including relaying messages Manage email inboxes Greet c lients and stakeholders with confidence Tidy and maintain the reception area Coordinate with Building Reception/Security re visitors Deal with queries from the public, customers and suppliers Manage the meeting room diar ies Ensure meeting rooms are presentable and fully stocked at start and end of day Open & distribute the post and internal mail on a daily basis morning and afternoon Organise the outgoing post Assist with onboarding new starters Setting up purchase orders and maintaining records Book couriers and taxis when needed Stock control, including tea, biscuits, sugar, etc. Control of fruit, milk and daily newspapers Ensure the stationery room is tidy at all times and adequately stocked Supervise daytime cleaner Administering a rchiving Managing the gym diary and taking charge of bookings Provide general administrative and clerical support for other departments as needed Manage reception temporary staff Arrange office lunches and assist with client/staff functions as required Health & Safety Responsibilities: First Aider & Fire Warden Assist with arrangements for internal and external staff events Order business cards Ad hoc tasks when requested S kills and E xperience Experience as a receptionist within a corporate environment Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills A dministrative and clerical skills C omputer skills including Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Teams Excellent organisationa l and prioritisation skills Attention to detail Reliable and proactive Able to use initiative What’s in it for you Our rapidly growing, award-winning business offers a dynamic environment for talented, entrepreneurial professionals to achieve results and grow their careers.
