We are recruiting an Executive Head Chef for a prestigious TV and Film Studios based at Shepperton and overseeing additional Studios locally.
Be part of a team providing catering services across a busy site with multiple outlets while looking at ways to continuously improve the offer and create exceptional food. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who can inspire and lead our great team and share their wealth of experience while leading a multi-million pound a year operation.

* Salary - Circa £45,000 - £50,000

Job Description
The essential ingredient at the heart of our business is our people so we are searching for an experienced Executive Head Chef with multi outlet experience and a background in exceptional food catering services to join our business and work with one of our highly prestigious contracts.
As a Executive Head Chef your focus is to work closely with your teams to develop a great work relationship and together to provide the best customer service.
As well as having an excellent presentation, organisational and communication skills, you will be able to demonstrate a real passion for food & service and possess bags of enthusiasm and continuously look at creating new business opportunities.
WHAT WILL KEEP YOU BUSY:
* Ensure that the location achieves, as a minimum, the financial targets agreed with the client in line with the budget
* Monitor the work of all the staff and carry out appraisals, recognise training needs and potential as appropriate
* Hold team meetings on a regular basis to communicate targets, standards required and company and client information
* Work with your General Manager to prepare budgets; achieve and maintain the food cost in accordance with the budget
* Develop and evolve all client’s services at location, ensuring regular adjustments and improvements are both recommended and implemented
* Oversee other sites to align catering offers as well as quality and look at ways to increase profitability
Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
* Previous experience in an Exec Chef or Head Chef role with Contract Catering, Events or Hotel / Conferencing
* A background in a well established environment such as a multi outlet site or large corporate location within the Food Service Industry or a similar corporate operation.
* Be a proven, hands-on leader, able to invest in your team and their development
* Thrive on getting the best out of people and maximising commercial opportunities
* Be naturally outgoing and vibrant, display a real passion for food and customer service
* Excellent kitchen management skills
* Be financially astute with good understanding of GP calculation and have strong IT literacy
* Be innovative and creative and driven by excellence
* Fresh innovative ideas for a variety of different catering styles
* Provide a professional catering service, ensuring that company standards are maintained and that Client expectations are met
* Strong understanding of report writing and financial management.
* Excellent supervisory and communication skills
* Good delegation and influencing skills
* Able to demonstrate your analytical approach to problem solving
* Ability to display a real passion for food and customer service
Additional Information
* Up to £50,000 per annum
* Monday to Friday with weekends/evenings when required
