We’re looking for an Account Director to join our team for a maternity cover contract. This role reports into the client services director and is supported by an account manager and the wider agency team. You’ll be a key member of our account management team, providing essential client support, advice, and campaign delivery across a range of clients.
The role could also possibly extend to a longer contract or a full-time role, dependent on our business requirements at the time.

Required Skills
* At least 5 years experience in account management within a marketing agency
* Sound understanding of social and digital marketing
* Ideally some experience in social media and/or shopper marketing
* Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written
* Great team leader
* Entrepreneurial and innovative
* Ability to delegate whilst maintaining support
* Passionate and motivated by creativity
* Ability to build strong relationships
* Legal right to work in the UK on the commencement of employment.
The Role:
We’re looking for a fantastic AD to come in and hit the ground running, looking after some of our key client accounts. The role has some core facets including:
* Client management: Manage clients on a day-to-day basis. Be seen as the key point of contact for the account within the agency and by the client. Lead client conversations with authority.
* Client partnership: Build a strong relationship with our clients to help with the day-to-day delivery of projects. Gain understanding of our client’s business in order to help add value in project delivery.
* Commercial focus: Able to run multiple projects profitably. From budget creation through to identifying opportunities to grow budgets.
* Project leadership: Be a safe pair of hands in picking up client briefs then leading the stakeholder response, from writing of creative brief through to management of stakeholders in delivering the project.
* Entrepreneurial spirit: Proposing ideas on how to help grow business. Utilising industry trends to offer up proactive thoughts to our clients.
* Team management: Motivate, develop, and appraise staff in conjunction with the senior team. Ensure your team is motivated on a day-to-day basis and have the resources to deliver projects; on brief, on time, and on budget.
