Amazon is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Manager in Vietnam for the Amazon Global Selling business. The Account Manager will be responsible for marketing Amazon’s global marketplaces and identifying and targeting Selling Partners of all sizes to grow their businesses around the world. This person will be the primary point of contact that markets Amazon’s Global Selling program to Selling Partners located in Vietnam.
The Account Manager will have experience building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and the ability to deliver results. Responsibilities include:
1. Providing primary post-sales general and/or technical support to third-party Selling Partners.
2. Managing relationships with key accounts and developing strategies to maximize these relationships and support their growth on Amazon.
3. Monitoring and maintaining performance, working with clients to improve performance (Business Growth).
4. Proactively monitoring accounts to identify and address any issues that may impact revenue generation.
5. Driving results and working across all relevant cross-functional areas to guarantee effective communication, implementation, and execution of objectives.
Background on Amazon Global Selling: Amazon Global Selling helps businesses from anywhere in the world to launch a global business, reaching Amazon customers around the world and building international brands. Through sellers on Amazon online stores, sellers of different types and sizes can now sell to 300+ million worldwide active customer accounts, including 150+ million Prime customers in overseas Amazon marketplaces and millions of institutional buyers in the USA, Europe, and Japan.
Minimum Requirements:
1. BA/BS degree preferred.
2. 3+ years of successful account management experience, preferably in the eCommerce, online services, or retail industries.
3. Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach.
4. Result-oriented with a strong commitment and ownership towards goals or targets assigned.
5. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
6. Highly analytical with a data-driven mindset. Must be comfortable with Microsoft Excel/BI tools.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity.
8. Strong written and verbal communication in English.
9. Fluent in Vietnamese.
Additional Qualifications:
1. Experience in working with international/cross-cultural teams.
2. Acquainted with online business. Having global e-commerce or marketplace experience is a plus.
3. Experienced using analytical, marketing, productivity tools, and online collaboration tools.
