There is an opportunity for a highly motivated Occupational Therapist, with experience of community mental health settings, to take on leadership of the Camden Division occupational and arts therapy services at NLMHP
The post holder will work alongside senior MDT colleagues and will lead on the development and embedding of community transformation and delivery of the Mental Health Partnership AHP strategy.
The post is responsible for professional leadership of community occupational therapists, arts therapists and support workers working in Acute Day Treatment, Core and Intensive, Community Rehabilitation, Early Intervention and Perinatal teams.
There is an active cross-Trust Head OT group, and as part of this there are opportunities to contribute to the professional development of the wider trust body of occupational therapists. Continuous professional development is strongly encouraged and supported.
The post is managed by the Operational Director of the Camden Division and professional supervision is provide by the Trust Head of Occupational Therapy.

Education
• Degree/Diploma in occupational therapy
• Evidence of master level / equivalent post qualification study
• Registration with the HCPC as an occupational therapist
• Practice Education training
Experience
• Extensive experience as a qualified occupational therapist in mental health
• Broad experience of working with clients with a range of mental health problems
• Experience of both group and individual work
• Experience of multidisciplinary working
• Experience of supervising staff and students
• Experience in a clinical area related to the post
• Experience of multi-agency work
• Expert knowledge of occupational intervention
