Amazon Freight product allows Shippers to use Amazon’s transportation network to transport products in bulk across Europe. This is an innovative technology-driven solution for the shipping needs of small and large businesses and is scaling rapidly as an offering. Amazon Freight is a part of the Amazon Transportation Services organization in Europe which is a cutting-edge supply chain technology organization and responsible for many of Amazon’s best-in-class logistics offerings.
We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Business/Revenue operations manager to join our fast-paced dynamic team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, relishes working with large volumes of data, enjoys the challenge of highly complex business contexts, and is passionate about scaling businesses.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Own and drive workstreams aimed at increasing sales productivity.
2. Create frameworks that define the strategy and operating models to solve complex business challenges and opportunities.
3. Deep dive into data and processes, generating insights that influence the commercial strategy and decision making.
4. Closely partner with stakeholders from across the business, such as commercial support, sales, marketing, and interfacing with product and operations.
A Day in the Life
This role will be pivotal in supporting our Commercial teams to meet their challenging goals by providing insights, designing commercial frameworks, and leading commercial initiatives with the ultimate goal of increasing their productivity. The team is responsible for customer segmentation, customer activation and retention, performance and profitability management, strategic planning, and target setting.
About the Team
Amazon couldn’t deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team. As part of ATS, you’ll be welcomed into a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. Using air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centers equipped with the latest technology, you’ll help Amazon’s transport run at maximum efficiency. Our team captures data and uses it to drive decisions, making Amazon more innovative and efficient.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. A degree.
2. Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
3. Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data.
4. Experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies or equivalent.
5. Ability to develop business cases, familiar with P&L implications and planning.
6. SQL basics, willingness to keep developing as required to work with tools and datasets available.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools.
2. Experience presenting to senior leadership.
