The General Dental Council (GDC) have an exciting opportunity for an Engagement Officer. You will join us on a Full-time, 12 month contract. This role is Hybrid (2 days minimum per week spent working from the GDC’s office in London) and in return you will recevie a salary of £35,777 to £42,090 per annum.\n\nAbout us:\n\nThe General Dental Council (GDC) is the statutory body responsible for regulating dental professionals in the UK.\n\nOur primary purpose is to protect patient safety and maintain public confidence in dental services. We want to be champions of diversity and to have a sense of belonging in the workplace, where everybody has the chance to contribute and to share what is important to them.\n\nAbout the Engagement Officer role:\n\nAs Engagement Officer, you will take the lead on the logistical arrangements for any face-to-face stakeholder opportunities, supporting the GDC's programme of engagement by delivering effective events, conferences and virtual and in-person meetings.\n\nKey Responsibilities of our Engagement Officer:\n\nEngagement with the GDC’s external audiences including strategic partners, dental professionals, dental students and patient groups across the UK\n\t\nMaintaining the GDC stakeholder engagement tools including: the stakeholder calendar, inbox, lists and meeting databases\n\t\nProviding effective administration support for all the stakeholder engagement workstreams\n\t\nProviding administrative and logistical support for events including the Dental Leadership Network and external conferences.\n\nYou will possess excellent planning and organisational skills, paired with an ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively. You will demonstrate previous experience in administration as well as some evidence of events management.
