Hays Senior Finance are working with a leading not-for-profit provider to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager.
Your new role
You will be responsible for a payroll team looking after multiple payrolls across the group, being the expert on all payroll matters for the organisation, working in collaboration with HR to deliver first-class experience for colleagues during their time with the business. As well as ensuring payrolls are processed on time and accurately and "owning" the escalation process for queries andplaints, you will manage audits, the relationships with outsourced payroll providers to ensure standards are met and maintained. You will also have full ownership for the review and improvement of processes, system development and the long-term strategy for payroll in the group.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally a member of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Management, or with significant years of payroll experience, you will have extensive and detailed up-to-date,plex and high-volume payroll processing knowledge, a proven track record of leading, motivating and coaching a team and experience in process/system improvement. You will have excellent interpersonal andmunication skills, be able to maintain confidentiality and be able to build strong cooperative working relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Experience in dealing with outsourced payroll providers would be highly beneficial.
