Our internal audit team currently has a new vacancy for an Auditor to join their team.
As an Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring L&Q's business activities are compliant with statutory and industry regulations. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the annual audit plan by:
1. Analysing assignment level risk exposures and testing relevant controls and identifying missing or inadequate processes, policies or procedures
2. Formulating audit tests, analysing data and conducting research relevant to your assignments while considering the legislative/risk environment throughout the audit process
3. Producing accurate and objective working papers and draft reports for the audit management team to approve and supporting discussions on relevant issues with Executive and leadership team members
4. Participating in counter fraud testing during the investigation process
5. Supporting and maintaining relevant internal audit records while also testing Group functional records and systems
What You'll Bring:
1. Excellent analytical and numerical skills with the ability to develop technical audit capability and a willingness to work towards relevant audit qualification
2. Experience or knowledge in counter fraud, bribery, and corruption, with the ability to participate in investigations
3. Good presentation skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy in reporting results and producing quality reports
4. Good communication and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge and influence at different levels of the organisation, building effective and sustainable relationships
5. Strong organisational and planning abilities, with the capability of delivering in a high performing environment against demanding objectives
