We are looking for a Distribution Stores Operative with an eye for detail In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring that all orders are accurately received and checked into our systems, stored correctly, then picked, packed and ready for distribution according to our fast-paced daily schedule. The ideal applicant will be computer literate, have a keen eye and attention to detail, enjoy working as part of strong team, ability to maintain order in our warehouse and stores, excellent problem-solving skills, and a talent for following processes and procedures with speed and accuracy. Full time hours : 24 hours per week worked between Monday – Thursday 07:30 - 16:15 and Friday 07:30 - 12:30 with a 30-minute lunch, and a short morning and afternoon break each day. What will I be responsible for? Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Working in our distribution stores to ensure that stocks are accurately received, stored, picked and packed, and prepared for distribution according to our daily schedules. Conduct visual quality inspection of incoming and finished products. Use the company computer system to accurately record incoming and outgoing products. Identify on a daily basis incoming orders requiring immediate despatch to customers or within an agreed specified time. Ensure that stock items are used in the correct rotation order in line with batch, serial number, or other Identification. Ensure goods are correctly packed and labelled and complete all relevant documentation as per Dispatch requirements. To ensure that the stores and your working area are kept clean, tidy, and free of hazards in accordance with the company 6S standards. To participate in daily/weekly SQCDP Board meetings. To support the booking of couriers and delivery drivers as required. Become involved in new product locations and warehouse lay out projects. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. To be flexible and adaptable to the needs of Flitetec. Our ideal candidate Has the ability to accurately follow work instructions for the smooth and efficient running of our stores and warehouse, Ability to work as part of a team, Previous experience working in a stores/warehouse environment, Computer literate and a working knowledge of using warehouse computer systems (training on our systems will be provided), Be able to work under own initiative and as part of a professional team, High level of attention to detail and accuracy, Problem solving skills, Good hand to eye coordination, Willing to learn, develop and complete any required training.
