Position: Legal Secretary - Private Client/Conveyancing
Location: Paisley
Pertemps are recruiting a Legal Secretary to join our client, a local law firm. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a legal firm and ideally exposure to Private Client or Conveyancing work.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive administrative support.
2. Draft, format and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
3. Maintain an organized filing system for case files and legal documents.
4. Manage schedules, appointments and meetings.
5. Communicate with clients, court officials, and other parties on behalf of the legal team.
6. Handle incoming calls and correspondence efficiently.
7. Ensure compliance with legal procedures and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role within a legal environment.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal software.
3. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
5. Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
6. Knowledge of Private Client or Conveyancing practice.
