They are looking to recruit an Export Clerk for their offices based close to Tuxford. The Person:
1. Good GCSE/A-Level results, especially in basic skills such as Maths and English, are required.
2. Must be willing to learn new legislations and regulations, new procedures, new systems, and adapt fast to the changes.
3. Previous experience is essential.
4. Demonstrating good administrative skills and previous employment in a clerical role may be sufficient.
The Role:
1. Creating dispatch paperwork.
2. Maintaining the relevant in-house systems.
3. Communication with required network and carrier partners.
4. Communicate with head office and arrange invoicing on shipment.
5. Ensure procedures and policies are followed.
6. Track and trace necessary documentation to ensure all customs-related processes are in order.
7. Log necessary information into port systems and customs software in a timely manner.
8. Ensure accuracy up to the best standard.
9. Engage with various departments across the group to ensure all shipments are completed efficiently.
10. Engage with customers and suppliers as necessary to fulfill business needs.
11. Assist with international freight documentation.
12. Deal with customer inquiries and queries.
13. Answer phone calls.
14. Support weighbridge with the weighing of shipments.
15. Liaise with dispatch for accurate loading information.
16. Prepare and send samples to customers.
17. Communicate with the veterinary services regarding shipments.
18. Attend any events deemed appropriate by the company.
This role is office-based, and you must be able to drive to get to the site. The role is paying up to GBP29,500. Get in touch with Shaun at Questech to be considered.
