An exciting opportunity has arisen for an 18-month secondment to the Systems Team within the Finance Division as a Finance Systems Assistant, enabling the team to implement the transition of Unit4 ERP into the cloud. You will have a good understanding of financial concepts whilst having an interest in systems developments and delivering service improvements. You will support various systems and processes, working with key stakeholders to both support existing systems and enhance them as required. Taking a lead on small system developments is a requirement and this will involve managing any development from conception through to implementation and liaising with relevant staff as necessary. Another key function of this role is to actively support the Unit4 ERP cloud migration project from initial system configuration through to user acceptance testing. You will be expected to have a keen interest in furthering their knowledge of finance systems, embracing new technologies with the aim of delivering further benefits to the Finance Division. The role is part of a small and friendly team within the Finance Division and the holder will be expected engage proactively with all other sections of Finance along with the wider University as required. You will need excellent organisational and communication skills, a courteous and professional manner together with an enthusiasm for working in a busy, but friendly team environment.
