We’re looking for a Web Analytics Developer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, assuring quality, deploying, and documenting sophisticated web analytics solutions. This role demands a deep understanding of web analytics tools and technologies, with a focus on Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, solution providers, and development teams to deliver actionable insights that drive our digital strategy forward.
What will you do as a Web Analytics Developer at N Brown?
1. Take an active role in both team and technology aspects, driving improvements and innovation.
2. Contribute to development standards and best practices within the team.
3. Diagnose and resolve complex data collection issues, utilising web analytics testing tools and methodologies.
4. Work closely with stakeholders, solution providers, and both the app and web development teams to develop and publish comprehensive web analytics solutions.
5. Configure and manage analytics solutions in Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager, including setting up tracking for single-page applications for both Google Analytics and Third-Party Marketing tools.
6. Develop and maintain datalayer specifications to support tracking solutions.
What skills and experience will you have?
7. Proficient in configuring and managing Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
8. Configuration of client side and server-side tagging for Google Analytics and Third-Party Marketing tools.
9. Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing datalayers and managing complex tagging strategies.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve data collection issues.
11. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to support tracking solutions.
12. Knowledge of HTML and the Document Object Model (DOM) including on Single Page Application (SPA) websites infrastructures.

Ways of Working
We offer hybrid working which varies across the business depending on the role you’re in.. Our Head Office is located in the Northern Quarter in Manchester City Centre. So if you are travelling by train, tram or bus we’re perfectly located, plus we’re surrounded by cool cafes, trendy bars and the best places to eat!
Our full-time working hours are 36.17 per week over 5-days. We don’t have strict working hours therefore there is some flexibility around start and finish times as long as you are meeting the needs of the business.
