Qualifications
Essential Criteria:
1. NMC 1st Level Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Paramedic/Physiotherapist
2. Completed or working towards a Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice or PGDip as a minimum must include: 1. History taking and physical assessment 2. Pharmacology 3. Clinical decision making and diagnostics
3. IRMER Regulation trained
4. Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
Desirable Criteria:
1. EPALS
Experience
Essential Criteria:
1. 3 years ED experience at Band 6/7
2. Experience of working in multidisciplinary teams within an acute health care setting.
3. Evidence of involvement in direct supervision and leadership in teaching and mentoring of junior staff and students
4. Evidence of ability to look after patients with a wide range of pathologies.
5. Currently working in a practitioner role
Desirable Criteria:
1. Evidence of implementing change in clinical practice
2. Relevant teaching/supervising/mentoring experience
Technical Skills Competencies
Essential Criteria:
1. Demonstrable clinical competence in a range of clinical skills and competences associated with the role requirements of the speciality
