The Castle @ Theale is a new provision for students aged 11-19 with SEMH and ASD run by The Castle School.
We are growing our team and seeking a Teaching Assistant to help create exceptional learning environments and help to support the delivery of an exciting curriculum in a truly therapeutic setting. This is a fantastic and unique opportunity for someone with SEMH/ASD experience, a passion for person centred learning and therapeutic approaches, to be involved in a new provision.
You will work closely with the class teacher and HLTA to support the needs of pupils as individuals or in small groups throughout the day.
You will have excellent people skills and a warm and caring personality. The ability to communicate effectively with pupils, parents and other staff is important. Opportunities for training are available and all staff are encouraged to take up these opportunities.
This role is 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only and based in our Theale site.
