Job Title: HVAC Engineer Location: South Kensington, London Salary: £40,000 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Team: Part of a team of 15 engineers Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and proactive HVAC Engineer to join a dynamic team of 15 engineers at a prestigious museum in South Kensington, London. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across the museum, ensuring the comfort of visitors and staff while supporting the preservation of the museum’s collections in a high-profile, cultural environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on HVAC systems across the museum. Maintain and troubleshoot heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure efficient operation. Resolve HVAC issues promptly to minimize disruption to the museum’s operations. Support the installation, maintenance, and upgrades of HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with relevant safety and environmental standards. Work collaboratively with a team of engineers to address urgent HVAC issues in a critical environment. Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring the museum’s facilities maintain ideal conditions for both comfort and preservation. Key Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in Heating and Ventilation, Air Conditioning, or a related field (essential). Proven experience in the maintenance, repair, and operation of HVAC systems, ideally in a commercial or high-security setting. Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team of engineers. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
