Description
This role is responsible for developing new business prospects and selling our Lexology Webinar (Masterclass) product to clients, specifically to law firms. You will use your relationship, client management and negotiation skills to grow our client base by approaching new clients by telephone and email, planning and pitching the opportunity to host a Masterclass on our platform.
Key Responsibilities
* Initiate, develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospect customers.
* Follow a topic/content led sales approach, researched and targeted to meet the needs and structures of prospective customers.
* Complete account management activities as and when required.
* Develop in-depth product, market and sector knowledge.
* Actively update CRM (Salesforce), to reflect your sales activities and pipeline.
* Assist in developing and implementing plans to maximise new business opportunities.
* Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders (editorial, content, marketing, finance, product, team leaders etc.)
* Foster and maintain strong relationships with Masterclass teams in our international locations, USA and Hong Kong.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills, in particular a highly professional telephone manner.
* An aptitude for working towards targets and deadlines and devising a personal strategy to hit and exceed them.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Highly motivated individual able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience of using a CRM system - preference for Salesforce.
* Previous experience selling within the legal or professional services market is desirable, but not essential.
