Critical care at Wirral Hospital is seeking registered nurses who are looking for the chance to deliver a truly holistic caring experience for their patients.
This opportunity will allow you the chance to care for 18 critically ill patients, from all medical and surgical specialities. Once you have developed your skills you can have the opportunity to work with the rehabilitation, follow-up and outreach teams.
Critical Care knowledge and experience is desirable.

We are looking for Staff Nurses with a minimum of 1 year Acute ward experience.
Main duties of the job
* Act as Critical care nurse following completion and assessment of critical care training.
* Act as preceptor and supervisor to junior colleagues and unqualified support staff.
* Carries out specialised nursing duties following completion of supplemented training.
* Participates in the rotation of all areas of critical care, as service needs require.
* Acts as a specialist core team member working a high proportion of shifts out of hours.
