Finance Manager - Witney/Hybrid - £60,000 + Benefits
Hays Oxford has been engaged by a leading firm based in Witney to support with the latest hire into the team, a finance manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare quarterly accounts and investor reports.
* Manage annual audits and tax statements.
* Engage in investment appraisals and valuations.
* Direct Managed Accounts.
* Handle statutory and quarterly reporting for large accounts.
* Provide quarterly accounts, manage banking, and VAT.
* Control bank payments and budget.
* Oversee audits, tax programs, and timber harvesting processes.
* Assist with Head Office finance activities.
Skills & Experience:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
* 2+ years PQE in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of statutory accounting, VAT, and tax.
* Strong numerical and IT skills (Excel).
* Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and time management skills.
* Effective communicator with confidence in dealing with senior people.
