Job Description
Stirling Council is looking for an Appropriate Adult to join us in delivering an Appropriate Adult Service across Forth Valley, working on a supply basis (as and when required).
Appropriate Adults provide communication support to those with a mental disorder, aged 16 and over during police processes or investigations.
Applicants with the following experience are welcome to apply:
1. Experience (in a professional, voluntary or personal capacity) of working with adults who have: a mental illness, learning disability, dementia, Autism/ADHD and/or acquired brain injuries or related conditions.
2. Experience of assisting vulnerable adults with communication support.
The hourly rate of pay is £15.72, and you will be paid a monthly retainer fee of £150.

Requirements
The successful candidate must be flexible with their availability, covering frequent day shifts and night shifts. They will also be required to travel to various locations across Forth Valley, so must have access to their own vehicle.
