We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, reliable, highly motivated Reception Team Leader. As Reception Team Leader, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the reception team. The post holder will help to maintain a happy and committed team. The role will be patient-facing, and the post holder will assist the Assistant Practice Manager in a full range of patient activities within the practice. The post holder will be required to offer front-line support with all patient queries. Strong customer service skills will be required with the ability to adapt to a busy NHS setting.
Main duties of the job
The successful post holder will have excellent organisational skills, teamwork, and problem-solving skills which are essential for this post. You should have excellent communication and telephone skills, together with the experience of working with the general public with a caring approach.

The successful candidate will:
1. Be flexible in approach, both with working patterns and travelling across the organisation, with an expectation you will work between our main site and our branch surgery, adapting to different sites and demands.
2. Be professional at all times with a kind and caring disposition that satisfies the needs of our patient cohort.
3. Be able to respond to the various demands and challenging circumstances of general practice.
4. Have a good education with qualifications and/or practical experience in the relevant areas.
5. Have experience of working in a busy office environment and working under pressure, ideally within a large customer service role.
6. Have good IT skills, ideally with experience of clinical software such as Emis Web.

£24,000 to £27,000 a year depending on experience.
