We're looking for an enthusiastic estate agent to join and develop with a young, forward-thinking independent Estate Agent. Oakwood Estates is expanding on existing talents and is now searching for an experienced Lettings Representative to take up the position of Area Lettings Manager.
The successful candidate will have the necessary attributes to be a champion of Residential Property Lettings and Listings in the area. You should have previous experience in Estate Agency and must genuinely enjoy dealing with people in a business context, believing passionately in delivering superior customer service. You will need the drive and determination to succeed in winning business and creating opportunities.
Job Description
An experienced self-motivated lettings manager is required to head the Lettings division and take responsibility for all rentals and front-line roles. You will be responsible for building up and maintaining business with the goal of recruiting more members as the division grows.
Roles
1. Review team activity to ensure team targets are being achieved
2. Registering Applicants
3. Booking and conducting viewings
4. Providing written and verbal viewing feedback to Landlords
5. Building rapport with Landlords
6. Negotiating and putting forward offers by written and verbal means
7. Running the touting system in a quick and efficient manner
8. Updating the Landlord Directory with new leads
9. Calling through the Landlord Directory and trying to secure valuations
10. Matching properties and undergoing call rounds
11. Devising marketing material and assisting in marketing campaigns
12. Keeping the shop window updated
13. Booking and conducting valuations
14. Writing up property descriptions and taking property photos
15. Managing coordination through Teclet
Experience / Qualifications:
- 5 years plus experience in the Estate Agency industry
- Previous listing experience, preferably within the area
Hours
Monday to Friday - 9am to 6pm
Rotational Saturdays
28 days paid holiday in each year inclusive of the normal 8 bank and statutory holidays
