An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the Quantity Surveying Team within Property Services.
About the role
The role comprises the delivery of a professional, accurate, effective quantity surveying service, that encompasses pre and post contract quantity surveying and contract management duties across a range of projects.
About you
The successful candidate will be capable of working to a high standard, on their own and within a team, promoting the Karbon values and brand and ensuring that targets and KPI’s are achieved. You will have good to detail, be able to work unsupervised, be enthusiastic, encouraging collaboration across Karbon Homes and have a clear focus on cost and value for money. You will be an effective communicator, conversing with various internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues within property services, finance, procurement, health and safety and asset management.

* Quantity Surveyor – permanent role
* Salary is £48,035 per annum plus a Karbon car payment of £2,260 per annum
* Location: Newburn, Stanley or Gosforth
* Regular travel will be required
* 37 Hours per week with some homeworking available/flexible working
