The University of Bath’s School of Management is seeking a proficient MSc Programme Administrator on a fixed term basis (maternity cover) to join the team in a fast paced, varied role. You will be a dedicated, hardworking individual who works well in a team and autonomously in a busy fast paced environment. You can demonstrate attention to detail and working with a high volume workload in a multicultural environment. You will be required to process reports and applications, provide programme support and maintain a high level of student experience. This role requires a good level of communication skills and the ability to work with students, agents and faculty as well as across departments. This postholder will form part of the School’s MSc Office team, taking responsibility for aspects of support for administrative programme support for the MSc suite of programmes and admissions, ensuring that services are efficient, effective and adapt to changing circumstances. This postholder will also be involved in supporting processing applications to the programmes and needs to display a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. The MSc team work well together, developing common systems and processes standardised on best practice and ensuring that University regulations and procedures are adhered to. The postholder will also be in regular communication with students (which may include matters of confidentiality) and potential applicants so the postholder will need to have excellent organisational skills, demonstrate a good use of initiative and be able to interpret and apply and support complex information in a fast moving environment. This is a busy and varied role. You will need to have: excellent organisational skills appropriately high levels of autonomy and initiative the ability to multi-task and work with others to plan and prioritize strong IT skills to facilitate managing university- and programme-specific records, admissions processing and other relevant systems This is a busy and varied role which requires the postholder to communicate persuasively and tactfully with academic staff, to ensure cooperation and compliance with milestones in the academic year. The postholder must be able to work to tight deadlines on their own initiative, and to learn new systems and procedures rapidly. You may be required to work on multiple tasks and provide support to various members of the team at any given time. In addition, you may be required to support events and work occasional evenings and weekends.
