Join our team as an Assistant Rent Accountant
We are currently looking for an experienced finance professional to join our dynamic Rent Accounting team on a permanent basis
In this role you will be pivotal in ensuring that property information is accurately recorded to report rent performance to the Group and to provide finance support in completing external regulatory returns relating to rent and property stock.
This is a highly data driven role where you will be working with large volumes of data and liaising with a range of stakeholders so ideally you will have excellent Excel skills, the ability to understand accounts and forecasting and be able to build strong working relationships. There will also be an opportunity to get involved in project work.

Some of the things we are looking for:
* Possess an understanding of rent accounting and/or demonstrate a desire to learn and develop within an Assistant Rent Accountant role
* AAT Level 3 or equivalent
* At least one year’s experience of accounting in a large and complex organisation with substantial budgets
* Excellent ICT skills (for example cloud technologies, Excel and Word).
* Experience of data analysis and reconciliation
* Experience of developing and managing an excellent customer driven service.
* Experience of interpreting information, carrying out research, analysing complex data, appraising performance, and managing risk.
Although this role is home-based, you should be able to travel to our Group offices approximately 2-4 times per month as needed. Our offices are located at Birmingham Business Park and Central Park, Worcester. Any necessary travel expenses will be reimbursed according to the current Inland Revenue mileage rates.
